A good tool to keep in your camera bag ,especially for macro photography, is a
spray bottle. Simply add water and spray on to your subjects (still life preferably) and viola, instant drama. As see in this shot, a boring abandoned spiders web turned from drab to fab with a couple of sprays of water. The trick is to face the light when photographing the water droplets, this will increase the contrast and give some pop to the shot. This photo was taken in the evening at 1/100s and f/5.6 (ISO 400).
