Using a window as a Lightbox for Portraits

Setup:
Placed the subject (the wife in this case) directly in front of the window. And using the angle of the blinds, I controlled the direction and intensity of the light. Setting the camera to spot meter, I metered for the models face - ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/50s.

Tip: Whenever I photograph portraits I always try to keep the non lit side of the face towards the camera. If you photograph the models face on the side the light source is coming from, it make the face look bigger.

Lightroom: White balance to cloudy and added vignetting.
