The scene above was taken in the afternoon as seen from the shadows of the rocks and driftwood. I timed the capture so the clouds would provide cover to the overhead sun light for part of the exposure, this helped soften the shadows and create a more tranquil effect. The image was taken using a 10 stop ND filter.
Camera settings: ISO100, f/22, 25s
Adobe Lightroom: Convert to monochrome, increase contrast and crop as needed
