My love for long exposure photography is the main reason I ever took up photography. Taking images that are not visible to the human eye and having people ask, how did you make the water look milky?
After loosing my Lee Big Stopper ($140) a few months ago, I lost hope in long exposure photography. Until, I came across a much cheaper and awesome alternative - ICE ND 1000 (72mm) $28 on Amazon.com.
The waterfalls above was photographed in bright sunlight in the afternoon. The ICE ND 1000 managed to get a 20s exposure at f/16 and ISO 100, the second image (taken with a polarizer) shows just how bright and sunny it was when the main image was captured.
I urge all viewers to give long exposure photography a try (if you haven't already) and it will open up a new world for you.
