Slow Shutter

Slow shutter photography is capturing motion in time in a single shot. In the shot above the shutter remained open for a couple of seconds as the water poured down the rock face. This helps create the silky white appearance of water. The use a a tripod for slow shutter photography is a must, additionally to have more control I would recommend a variable neutral density filter.
