Udaipur palace captured with 8mm fisheye lens. I have always been a big fan of lens flare, to capture lens flare I must have walked around the palace for 20minutes to get this shot.
Mosaic glass covers most of the windows at the center of the palace, these shots were captured in the afternoon as the sun was the brightest and allowed for enough light to capture detail in the glass.
Queens and princesses were not allowed to be seen by local public. So in locations where the female royalty moved from room to room windows were either covered in mosaic glass or with carved stone as seen in this shot.
Stone columns surround the palace gardens.
Many beheaded statues are visible as you walk through the palace commons, not sure if this represents anything or if it is simply negligence on the curators part.
Intricate stone work on central water fountain (not working).
