Street Photography - Dogs Point of View

I saw these two dogs across the street, I instantly tried to capitalize. The trick is to quickly compose and take the shot so the dogs don't get distracted and look some where else.
I prefocused the lens to five (5) feet as I crossed the street, I quickly lowered the camera and took a few shots at the dogs eye level.
By the time I view the pictures two out of the three were bad compositions and very blurry. This ended up being the best shot.
When in doubt take more than one photograph, the probability of a decent image is greater.

Camera setting: ISO100, f/5.6, 1/40s
