Whenever I go to big cities I always make it a point to look up and walk around big buildings (if possible). You'd be surprised and what you come across.
The building above was shot in downtown Manhattan (NYC). I have walked by this building many times, however the light has either been in the wrong location or to harsh. However, this one time, I walked by it and the light was perfect for what I needed to do. I knew exactly how I was going to shoot and post process the image.

Camera setup: ISO400, f/10, 1/800s
Lightroom: Desaturate, sharpen, white point and black point correction and vignette.
